Foundation preparation is a key component of the building process, regardless of the structure.
Our experience with a wide variety of foundations has honed our expertise in selecting the best equipment to get your job done in the most efficient way possible, in terms of both time and money.
We are very familiar with passing all engineer testing and requirements, including compaction testing and drill depth testing into good ground, having never failed a test.
Over the years we have worked closely with geo technical engineers and structural engineers to provide our clients the most cost-effective and structurally sound job possible and to tailor new solutions that circumvent geographical issues.
We have a varied fleet of diggers and fittings, in order to provide you with the most appropriate machine for your project including a range of smooth bucket sizes from 200mm to 1.8 metres for cutting tidy footings.
We also drill and place house piles and re-pile existing houses, including those on steep sections where pilings have failed after natural disasters.
We complete slab preparations for ribraft floors.
We are familiar with working with blockwork foundations, digging footings and compacting metal inside blockwork for base preparation.
For more information on our drilling see our “Drilling and Piling” section.
